Shadowbox Information

Etsy Stalker has earned a reputation as a place to discover the best and brightest of handmade creations and vintage items. Like our daily themed exhibits, Shadowboxes are a completely curated feature, given on the basis of application only. It is important to us that each shadowbox is right for Etsy Stalker and the aesthetic we maintain.

What is a Shadowbox?

A Shadowbox serves as a mini store front on our site. It can be used to feature an individual’s work or to promote the members of an Etsy Team. Listings in your Shadowbox link directly to your Etsy shop or to whichever site you prefer. Shadowboxes launch on the tenth of each month and run until the 9th of the following month.

Please note: Shadowboxes are not limited to Etsy sellers. Provided you are able to send us cropped pictures, we can link your Shadowbox to any site you’d like.

What are the Benefits of a Shadowbox?

Shadowboxes benefit from traffic from our large and established readership, 7,700 Twitter followers, and 6,000 Facebook fans.
Each Shadowbox will have a 200×200 image in our FABULOUS large rotating slider bar on the main page of our site. Talk about prime advertising real estate!
Each Shadowbox will have a turn to be “Shadowbox of the Day” during which we link directly to your Shadowbox on Facebook and Twitter.
There will be a strict cap of 25 Shadowboxes each month. You won’t get lost in the shuffle!

What Kinds of Shadowboxes are there?

Individual Shadowbox ($65 for the first month, $50 for subsequent months)

An Individual Shadowbox serves as a mini store front on our site.
- Here you can showcase twelve of your items.
- Each item can include a pop-up description when your mouse scrolls over the image.
- When an item sells, send us the new listing or a replacement item and we will be sure to update your Shadowbox within 24 hours.
A large bio to introduce yourself to our readers
Buttons for links to Twitter, Facebook, Blogs, Websites, Artfire, Pinterest, Flickr or any other spot of the artist’s choosing. The sky is the limit.
Run a Giveaway! With our open Shadowbox Comments you can run giveaways, ask advice, offer discounts, and receive a plethora of amazing compliments!

Team Shadowbox ($100/month discounts available for multiple months)

A Team Shadowbox serves as a mini store front for your Team on our site.
- Here you can showcase 20 members of your Etsy Team. Want to give each person one slot? Ten people 2 slots each? You decide! As long as it adds up to 20, you can break it down however you’d like.
- Clicking on any item in the Team Shadowbox will take you to the shop main page of that particular seller.
- When an item sells, send us the new listing or a replacement item and we will be sure to update your Shadowbox within 24 hours.
A large introduction to present the history and mission of your team.
Buttons for Team links to Twitter, Facebook, Blogs, Websites etc.
Run a Giveaway! With our open Shadowbox Comments you can run giveaways, get opinions, offer discounts, and receive a plethora of amazing compliments! For Teams, each individual can choose to offer a giveaway or the Team as a whole can combine for one prize. We can make it work!
