Here in the Curator Household, we have been a bit under the weather. Okay, that’s a major understatement. We’ve been in a torrential downpour of pestilence and plague. Whatever this bug is, it’s nasty one, and it has leveled adults and kids alike. As I’ve been stalking for an exhibit today, the items I kept finding myself searching for had to do with one thing: health and healing.
Etsy Says: Get Well Soon
He seems to have fairly limited mobility in his arms and I can’t actually see fingers, but somehow I think just looking at Little Wood People‘s “Little Wood Surgeon” is making me feel better already.
I’m thinking Spirit Horse Herbal‘s “Breathe Easy” cold and flu balm might be just what the little wood surgeon has to order.
This rockin’ little balm aids in decongestion and clearing your airway. It is loaded with mullein which is a wonderful plant ally for our lungs. Highly recommended for people with asthma or allergies or keeping on hand during the cold and flu season. It is also supportive in alleviating motion sickness as well as warding off nauseating smells.
Critter Jitters makes a tee that looks about as sad and pathetic as I feel. This poor little dog (who looks just like our little black pug, Shirley) wears the cone of shame!
I’m really intrigued by this herbal fever tea, a product of Barton Artel. A few of the people in this house could have used this yesterday!

Stacey R Chinn is an amazing conceptual artist who has created this masterpiece entitled “Icky Sickly Pillows.”
Bipolar Betty Goods makes a card that sums up so perfectly my relationship with Violet. I think we’ve sent each other many emails over the years that sound EXACTLY like this, and I am not even kidding. Well done, Betty!
Cough cough and a healthy dose of self pity,
Curator Beatrice
