Maybe I imagined it but it seems like I heard there was a wee bit of snow falling in parts of the United States this week. Even if you didn’t get snow, there’s no denying that it’s C-O-L-D out there. And just like your mother always told you, “If your head is warm, the rest of you will be, too.”
You really can’t go wrong hat shopping on Etsy; there are so many terrific winter hats in every color and pattern you can imagine. (In fact, a quick search of “winter hat” brought up over 20,000 items.) Today’s exhibit is to take you beyond the basics and find something that will express your style while keeping you toasty.
Winter Hats: Warm And Stylish
Adventures of Jessica Rose gets us started with this Molly Hat crocheted from pure, hand dyed cashmere in ivory and navy. The bow is actually a leather pin which adds one more luscious texture to this beauty.

How about this winter white Vanilla Urban Newsboy hat by Whynot Boutique that will go with absolutely everything? If you don’t like the flower, it’s a removable brooch!

Dark brown velvet with cream stitching makes this vintage 1960′s hat a timeless classic. Available from The Ruby Kitten.

Captured Imagination takes versatility to a whole ‘nother level with her hat. Crocheted out of Butterscotch, Toffee, and Chocolate colored yarns, the earflaps, pompoms, and flower are all removable. Pimp your hat, Stalkers!

You’ll definitely turn heads in this hand embroidered hat adorned with vintage buttons. Love the colorful embroidery along the scalloped edges. Well done, Thistle Cottage Studio!

The Millinery Shop starts by hand blocking aubergine felt on an authentic vintage hat block. She finished it with hand cut felt leaves in aubergine, green, and brown and a scallop cut band.

I’m starting to think I may have a thing for scalloped edges. Look at the beautiful detailing Janny’s Girl added to this gray fleece hat. Loving the white rosette trim along with the silver pansy pin attaching the felted flower.

Finally, Mehran’s mustard colored beret would add a punch of color to an overcast day. If you prefer another color, she’s got a great selection of both knit and crocheted hats to choose from.

Keep Warm and Happy Stalking!
