Curator Buys: Mary Mary Handmade

by Violet on December 10, 2009

If you follow us on Twitter, you may have heard me bragging the other day. Now, I’m not proud of that behavior. And yes, my mother raised me better than that. But if you were now in possession of the world’s cutest necklace , you would brag, too.

See? How could I not share my delight at having discovered Mary Mary Handmade? She specializes in silver handmade jewelry, much of it Kawaii inspired. What Violet likes best is how the clean lines and matte finish of the sterling silver elevate it from cutesy to cute.

If, for some strange reason, you prefer your jewelry without a face, check out this whisk necklace. How perfect would it be as a gift for a friend who bakes?

Or this Blossom pendant beautifully set off by a strand of iolite beads.

Mary herself was a delight to work with. Responsive, helpful, accommodating…I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Happy Stalking (to be followed by bragging)!

Wow! The only thing cuter than the “Baby Sloth” necklace might be the “Happy Sloth” necklace. SO great!
