Paradoxically, daffodils are Violet’s favorite flower. They are an unparalleled sign of spring in my book; everything about them is bright and cheerful. Violet can’t possibly improve on the immortal lines from Wordsworth’s poem, Daffodils:
I wander’d lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils.
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Join me, Stalkers, as we dance with the daffodils in this sunny exhibit.
A Host of Golden Daffodils
Loriotndorr offers this original photo which can be ordered as a print or a set of notecards. Violet is struck by this simple but elegant image. The combination of colors, the way the stems seem to curve through the glass…well done!

There’s just something about a trio of daffodils. Silvergirlstudio thinks so too. Here is her pop art version. Bright and beautiful!

Happycraftypainters gives us this way of enjoying daffodils no matter the season.

(Violet wonders if it is redundant to put daffodils in a daffodil vase. Also, how many times is too many times to use “daffodil” in a sentence?)
Kittystitch’s bright and festive Spring Floral card would be perfect for Mother’s Day.

With the rain pouring down outside, Violet dreams of frolicking with the bunnies in this whimsical digital print by SarahKDesigns.

When she’s done, she’ll wander down this inviting garden path. Dahlia House Studio spends 2-3 months on each of her acrylic on paper collages. The results are magical.

In striking contrast, we have Rachel Jasmine’s acrylic painting entitled Spring Daffodil. Violet adores the brilliant way she has captured the complete essence of a daffodil so simply.

Let’s finish off with some jewelry that Violet is absolutely coveting. First, these earrings by Melanie Hazen.

Look at the brass filligree bead on top!

(Violet has a nickel allergy…do any of you Stalkers know if she can wear brass wires?)
And this pink daffodil ring by Wanderlust Bounty. Lust, indeed!

At only $8.50, that ring would be terrific in an Easter basket!
Whatever you decide to get, make it that much more special with Seasonal Delight’s vintage inspired daffodil gift tags.

Happy Stalking!

Just so ya’ll know, those brass kidney wires are nickel free, so I don’t think Violet’s allergies would be affected….
Thanks so much for including my little earrings! I love all the bright sunny daffodils! Waiting (impatiently) for spring here in Tennessee!
Thanks for the inspiring daffodil collection. You gave this winter-weary artist hope for Spring!
