While Curator Violet loves exploring exotic locales, she does NOT believe that getting there is half the fun. The stress of packing, endless lines, and waiting for luggage can all work together to make for a disagreeable experience. With some trips of my own on the horizon, a little Etsy Stalking was in order to find products that ease the pain of travel. For a limited time, we offer the latest Stalker exhibit:
From Here to There: Travel Prep
First, some help with packing. SweetSugarBeet makes sturdy cosmetic bags is sizes ranging from small to extra large.

This one is called Tangerine Martini. (Come to think of it, a tangerine martini would also ease the pain of travel.)
BorsaBella has a fantastic assortment of fabrics. These brightly colored pouches would make Curator Violet actually look forward to packing:

Fernfiddlehead makes larger size “power pouches” designed to keep laptop cords and chargers contained:

For an extra splash of style, coordinate with her matching laptop envelopes.
Everyone knows the importance of keeping medication safe and secure while traveling. Curator Violet would never be caught dead with a plastic pill case when these are available.
Pink cheetah mini pill tins? Oh yes, indeed!

Cicuska offers this one for only $5.00. Just imagine the possibilities!
Therapy makes pill tins with reproduced vintage prescription labels. Who could resist carrying medicine in a box labeled “elixir”?

The older Curator Violet gets, the more difficult time she has sleeping in hotels. Perhaps a few comforts of home would help. Battle jet lag with this delightful sleep mask by Doodlebugs Fun Fabrics. The soft flannel makes it extra comfy:

Pack your favorite scented travel candle to make anywhere you are feel like home. We love these little tins by GoodScents shown here in lavender:

Now that we’re packed, let’s make sure we have all our documents. Who could resist the gelatin dessert fabric used by Bamboobaby to make this passport sleeve? It’s got a second pocket for extra storage:

If you’re looking for a passport cover, Factory Junkie makes this edgy one. Even the Customs Agent will be asking where you got it.

One last detail: a fun luggage tag to make sure your bag is easy to find! Bright and colorful, these tags would be perfect for a little girl’s suitcase:

Maluhia Designs has a variety, all equally eye-catching.
Lastly, comes something so clever and chic that Curator Violet absolutely fell in love. Uppity Woman Designs turns recycled formica sample chips into luggage tags. She’s added illustrations from old guidebooks as an accent. The back has room for all pertinent info:

Happy Stalking!

Oh how I dread packing (and all the things that must come with a toddler). What is even worse is when I get home sometimes my bag sits unpacked for weeks, slowly being unpacked little by little as I need particular items (I’m not proud of that).
I think I could used each of these things to ease the burden! Plus I have always wanted a sleep mask. Thanks for sharing.
This is a great list of items. Thanks so much for including my power pouches.
