Ok, so my family switched dental insurance and, like any good mom, I right away found a new dentist for the kids and got them set up. Slowly the months ticked away while my husband and I remained dentist-less. I’m ashamed to admit that nearly two years went by before a sensitive tooth finally forced me to find a new dentist. The good news? I absolutely love this new dentist. The bad news? I need two crowns. My plan is to immerse myself in denial and focus in on the kinds of crowns that make me happy.
Of Crowns And Crowns
Kenzie Noelle adds a touch of glamour to the everyday with this screen printed Fit To Be A Queen tea towel. Perfect for those days when you’re feeling like Cinderella in the kitchen.

Is your doggy an absolute princess? Show the world with this leather collar adorned with sterling silver crowns! Available from Eco-Hound.

Aside from being a bold, graphic accent, I’m loving the cleverness of this Queen Bee pillow from Word Garden.

Fun, practical, and girly! These princess hooded towels from Yikes Twins have it all. (Gotta love the shop’s tagline: Because getting clean should be just as fun as getting dirty!)

Speaking of getting clean, Fairy Queen soap looks almost too pretty to use! It’s made with a traditional English Roses scent by Soapy Chica.

Rustic and whimsical, Folk Art By Kerry describes her Primitive Bluebird in a Cage sculpture this way: “This delightful little bluebird sings songs of happiness, his golden crown bringing sunshine to all who listen carefully.”

I couldn’t narrow it down to just one bird with a crown. The Nightjar offers King Bird, a portrait of “a little wren who (thinks he) is king”. This is a print of her original oil on wood.

Hmm, I’m thinking a quick stop at Janine Basil is in order. Then I could walk into the dentist’s office wearing this and they’d say, “Oh, you already have a crown. Never mind the dental work!”

wow-thanks for the “stalk”- love your choices here- i adore the Queen Bee pillow
A great post. I am so sorry to hear about your needing two crowns. At least you are looking on the bright side. My little bluebird and I wish you well and hope for the best.
P.S. I think you should wear the crown-too adorable!
Violet, Thank you for stalking my Crown Tea Towel. Dental work is no fun….. my one son just got 4 crowns and my other son had to get 2. I agree these Crowns are so much more fun.
Have a fabulous day!

I was always sort of anti-crown, as the whole “I’m a princess” thing is not who I am at all. But…all of these crown items are great! I may be a crown convert, but I’ll still never be a princess.
