Tea Time

by Violet on February 2, 2012

We’re going through a tea phase at my house spurred by my daughter who likes the way “there’s a tea for every mood”. (If you follow us on Facebook, you know that we’ve consolidated all our tea into a box that we’ve named Tim. Tim Teabox.) Make yourself a steaming cup, pull up a chair, and join us for tea time.

Tea Time

Truly a piece of functional art, this teapot features a sensuous mermaid handle while the lid echoes the spikes of a sea urchin. I love the matte turquoise finish SkyBird Arts used for the pot itself.

Who better to share tea with than an enormous bear? This print is part of the dreamlike collection of artwork that makes up Arte Bella’s shop.

Craig’s Market is a great resource for gourmet dry rubs, salt and spice kits, and organic loose leaf tea. This herbal tea sampler includes 6 organic fragrant teas from Peppermint to Honeybush to Hibiscus Flower.

This piece is from an ongoing series called “We have roots, we have veins.” by Little Bean Prints. I love the idea of a secret place beneath the tree all set up for a warming cup of tea.

Never be without your favorite tea with this handy-dandy tea bag book that’s perfectly sized for your purse or bag. Made with Joel Dewberry fabric and sturdy interfacing, Handcrafted Books finished it off with a pretty ribbon tie.

When you need a place to put that tea bag when you take it out of the cup, reach for one of these sweet heart-shaped ceramic dishes. Blue Flower Pottery recommends them for rings and trinkets as well.

You’re never too young for your first tea set, especially when it’s a soft cloth one made by Oh Nelly. The bright striped fabric is sure to appeal to children and the five piece set will provide them with hours of imaginative play.

Happy Stalking!

It is with tea that I revamp, coffee does it in a different way for me. Tea time is bliss time and the items here are very, very blissful.
