Don’t Burst My Bubble

by Violet on July 14, 2011

Just the thought of a bubble bath is enough to relax me. Luxuriating in warm fragrant water surrounded by bubbles…does it get any better? Today we’ll look at some ways to appreciate a bubble bath both in and out of the tub.

Don’t Burst My Bubble

Dadadreams provides us with this delightful mixed media assemblage. Mr. Ducky is made of polystone resin. His bathtub is a porcelain espresso cup filled with plaster of paris and pearly beads embellished with glaze and glitter. The entire thing stands only 3 and a half inches high.

Zodiaque has formulated bath salts based on your individual astrological sign. For a Libra like me, she’s created a blend of Dead Sea Salt with Juniper Berry & Sandalwood genuine essential oils. The handmade gift label adds an extra-special touch.

Basking in Bubbles is a print of an original watercolor and ink illustration. The Gretchen Show explains that growing up she felt like the heart shaped bathtub was “the pinnacle of romantic excess”. As an adult she says, “And now I know those tubs are cheesy and probably moldy as well. But ah, the fantasy lives on.”

The aurora borealis finish on these clear quartz beads give them the lovely iridescence of soap bubbles. Keeping it simple with the addition of sterling silver bead caps and ear wires, My Cellar Door lets them shine.

Just reading the description of Naturallogic’s fizzing bath soak is putting me in a dream state: “Buttery, earthy vanilla pairs up with creamy buttermilk and citrus fruit oils to create a sensory overload that smells reminiscent of Angel Food Cake. Notes of alluring, powdery, and exotic sandalwood and a delicate balance of citrus peel oils offer an aroma that is out of this world.” (Yes, I’ll admit to putting my nose close to my screen in an attempt to smell it.)

These sweet note cards featuring an old fashioned claw foot tub filled with bubbles are available in a set of ten. Diane’s Note Cards will personalize them with the name of your choice written in a bubble filled font!

Finally, how fun is this Rubber Ducky’s Dream Bath Ring from Doll Disaster Design? Handmade from sterling silver, rough blue kyanite, glass, and–of course–one rubber ducky, this piece is a real charmer!

Happy Stalking…and Soaking!
